About this Role:
 
The HCM Product Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction of HCM implementations, enhancements, and customizations, ensuring they deliver maximum business value to clients. The position involves collaboration with clients, technical teams, business analysts, and executive leadership throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain product vision, strategy, and roadmap for HCM implementations 
  • Translate client business requirements into comprehensive product specifications 
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and enhanced functionality within HCM platforms 
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility, and resource constraints 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective implementation of product requirements 
  • Serve as the primary product owner in Agile development processes for HCM projects 
  • Define and track product metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement 
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from conception through deployment and ongoing improvement 
  • Create and maintain product documentation including requirements, specifications, and user guides 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into product iterations 
  • Support product expertise demonstrations 
  • Stay current with HCM updates, patches, and new module releases 
  • Evaluate third-party integrations and bolt-on solutions for potential implementation 
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and client satisfaction 
  • Develop and execute product release plans and communication strategies 
 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, or related field 
  • 7+ years of experience supporting HRIT or HCM platforms in large enterprise or government environments 
  • Experience in Product Manager or Product Owner role in Agile delivery environments 
  • Strong knowledge of HR business processes: personnel actions, benefits, compensation, performance, onboarding, and position management 
  • Hands-on experience with HCM systems, with primary focus on USA Staffing, as well as GovTA and ServiceNow HRSD. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to gather complex requirements and convert into actionable solutions 
  • Demonstrated experience managing product roadmaps, product backlogs, and Agile sprint planning 
  • Strong verbal/written communication and stakeholder engagement skills 
  • Experience working on federal contracts or supporting federal HR organizations 
Desired Skills and Competencies: 

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field 
  • Experience with major HCM platforms (USA Staffing, GovTA, ServiceNow, including Cloud architecture and Deployment.
  • Proficient in UI configuration and mobile capabilities (e.g., Fluid UI, responsive design) 
  • Skilled in HCM system integration technologies and cross-platform data flows 
  • Experience with enterprise software implementation methodologies 
  • Understanding of change management principles and practices 
  • Familiarity with competitive HR solutions and market trends 
  • Experience with business process reengineering 
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting capabilities 
  • Experience managing product budgets and resources 
  • Understanding of accessibility requirements for federal systems 
  • Knowledge of HR technology trends and innovations 

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
